Elite Camps has been delivering high-quality, year-round basketball camps and development programs across the Greater Toronto Area since 1999. Serving over 6,000 athletes annually, Elite Camps stands as one of Canada’s largest and longest-running basketball camp organizations, trusted by families for more than two decades.
Programs & Pathways
Elite Camps offers a comprehensive development pathway designed to meet athletes at every stage of their journey. Year-round programming includes:
• School break day camps
• Weekly skill lessons
• House leagues (D-League)
• After-school programs
• Elite Advanced Basketball Academy (EABA)
• Hoop Dreams Overnight Basketball Camp
Programs operate throughout Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, and the GTA, with a dedicated home base at the Elite Training Centre (ETC) in Toronto. Elite Camps is also a proud Ontario Camps Association (OCA) Accredited Camp, reflecting its commitment to safety, quality, and excellence.
Coaching Excellence
Elite Camps is powered by a full-time, year-round professional staff focused exclusively on program design, delivery, and continuous improvement. The coaching team includes:
• Experienced youth basketball skill-development coaches
• Former college/university and professional players
• Certified personal trainers and strength & conditioning coaches
• NCCP-certified coaches
During the summer, the team expands to over 100 staff, primarily current college/university or professional players coaching in their off-season, alongside former Elite campers and Academy athletes who deeply understand the Elite Camps culture and teaching philosophy.
A Culture of Continuous Improvement
Elite Camps believes development extends beyond the court. The organization invests heavily in ongoing education, training, and certification to stay at the forefront of athlete development. Coaches regularly train with and/or certify through leading authorities such as CanFit Pro, NCCP, TWIST Sports Conditioning, Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), Ganon Baker, Alan Stein’s Stronger Team, Precision Nutrition, and CFSC. This commitment ensures Elite Camps consistently evolves its proven development methodology, refined over 20+ years of instruction and camp leadership.
Community Impact
Giving back is central to the Elite Camps mission. Through Elite Camps Cares, children facing financial barriers are supported with access to camps and basketball programs. In addition, Swish for the Cure, Elite Camps’ charitable initiative, has raised over $135,000 for the Childhood Cancer Foundation, helping support families and advance the fight against childhood cancer.
