NF Hockey, also known as Northern Freeze Hockey, is a premier player-development program dedicated to helping young athletes elevate their skills, fitness, confidence, and self-awareness. Every player leaves NF Hockey stronger, more prepared, and more confident—qualities that translate directly to improved performance in practices and games.
Our Origin
NF Hockey was founded in 2001 by Phil Simeon, a lifelong hockey professional with extensive experience working in elite camps across North America. After years of coaching in hockey hotbeds such as Minnesota, California, Massachusetts, Illinois, Wisconsin, PEI, and Toronto, Phil set out to create a camp that truly reflected his personal coaching philosophy and player-first approach.
The first NF Hockey camps launched in Eagle River, Wisconsin, a respected Midwestern hockey community. Since then, the program has expanded to Illinois, Toronto, Oakville, and Burlington, building a strong reputation for high-quality development and consistent results. NF Hockey proudly celebrates long-standing success, including multiple years of camps in Oakville.
