Julie Allen – Elite Player Development Coach
Julie Allen is a former NCAA Division I, CWHL, and NWHL standout who has dedicated her post-playing career to elevating the next generation of female athletes. A Brampton native and University of New Hampshire alum, Julie brings over a decade of high-level playing experience, including a Clarkson Cup Championship with the Toronto Furies, and a season with the Toronto Six of the NWHL.
With more than ten years in coaching and on-ice skill development, Julie has become a trusted leader in female hockey development. She has coached at the U15AA and U22 Elite levels and held skill instructor roles with top programs such as Varsity Hockey, Journey to Excel, and Everest Academy. Most recently, she has led development initiatives for the Etobicoke Dolphins and Mississauga Hurricanes, working with athletes from U9 to U18.
Julie believes strongly in the importance of former elite female players transitioning into coaching roles to inspire and mentor young girls in a safe, inclusive environment. Her impact is evident—many of the athletes she has trained have advanced to Junior, Team Ontario, NCAA, and U SPORTS programs.
Driven, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to player growth, Julie Allen provides young athletes with the insight, experience, and confidence needed to thrive both on and off the ice.
