A certified Tennis Canada Instructor, Jourdyn blends elite training with a genuine love for teaching. Her academic background in kinesiology from McMaster University and a Master’s degree from Brock University strengthens her understanding of athlete development, biomechanics, and performance. Throughout her studies, she competed for both the McMaster and Brock Women’s Varsity Tennis teams while continuing to coach players of all ages and levels.

Jourdyn’s coaching style is athlete-centered, encouraging growth, confidence, and long-term skill development. She believes tennis is truly for everyone—and that it’s never too late to start or return to the sport.

In addition to her coaching experience, Jourdyn served as a field therapist with McMaster Sport Medicine, supporting varsity tennis teams across men’s, women’s, and junior varsity programs. This role provided her with deep insight into injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation, allowing her to integrate sports medicine principles directly into her coaching.
